5:90         O, you who believe! Intoxicant [beverages] and gambling and sacrificing stones*1 and dividing by arrows for seeking luck or decision are some of Satan's acts, so keep away from them that you may be salvaged;

5:91         Truly, Satan, wants to raise enmity and hatred among you [people] by intoxicants and gambling and he [desires] to keep you away from [God's] Remembrance and prayer; will you then desist from committing [evil] deeds?

5:92 And obey [God] and obey [God's] Messenger and keep away from the disobedience; but if you turn away [from the Truth] know that it is Our Messenger's only [duty] to convey the Divine Message publicly.

5:93 Those who believe and do righteous deeds, there is no sin on them for what they ate [or drank in the past], if they fear [God] and believe [in It] and do righteous deeds and again, try to be pious and do good deeds; [know that] verily, [God] is affectionate to the good-doers.
