The following Ayats (signs) are randomly selected on this day as a reminder to those believers in the Unique Creator of all that exists, that seeking answers to daily problems are most efficient through the journey offered within the sacred texts of the Holy Quran, the latest divine words of revelation brought to mankind through the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) Messenger of God.

In the Name of Allah the Merciful Beneficient

3:18          [God Itself] bears witness that there is no God, but Allah, and also the Angels and the men of knowledge, standing firm for justice, bear witness that there is no God but Allah, the Invincible Mighty Sovereign.

3:19          Truly, the Perfect Religion in the Sight of [God] is Islam. Those who were given the Scripture, differed out of envy after knowledge came to them. And whoso disbelieves in the Signs of [God should know that God] is the Swift-Reckoner.

3:20          But if they dispute with you [O, Messemger], then say: " I have surrendered myself [wholly] to [God] and so have those who follow me." And say to those have been given the Scripture and to the common folk: "Have you [too] surrendered?" And if they surrender, then verily, they are rightly guided, but if they turn away, your duty is only to convey the Message. And [God] is the Seer of [Its] disobedient worshippers.

3:21          [O, Messenger!] Those who disbelieve in the Signs of [God] and slay the Messengers unjustly and slay those who enjoin equity, give them good news of a painful Chastisement!

3:22          They are those whose good deeds also will be destroyed in this world and in the Hereafter [because of their sinful deeds], and they will have no supporter.

3:23          Have you not [O, Messenger] observed those who have been given a portion of the Scripture? When they are referred to the Book of [God] that it may judge among them, then a party of them turn away while protesting;

3:24          This is because they say: "The Fire shall not touch us but for a few numbered days."*1 And that which they have invented has deceived them, regarding their religion.

3:25          But how will it be with them when we gather them together [on the Day of Judgment] about which there is not doubt? And every soul shall be paid in full that which he has earned and no one shall be wronged.*2

3:26          Say [O, Messenger!]: "O, [God!] You are the Owner of the kingdom; you give the kingdom to whomsoever you Will, You exalt whomsoever You Will and abase whomsoever You Will; in Your [disposal] is all the good; verily, You are Powerful over all things;

3:27          "You cause the night to merge into the day and You cause the day to merge into the night; and You bring the living out of the dead and You bring the dead out of the living; and You give sustenance to whomsoever You Will without any limit."

*1- The Jews due to their racial attitude, believed so (Tafssire Nemuneh)

*2- Because every soul will receive recompense of his own deeds.
