The following Ayats (signs) are randomly selected on this day as a reminder to those believers in the Unique Creator of all that exists, that seeking answers to daily problems are most efficient through the journey offered within the sacred texts of the Holy Quran, the latest divine words of revelation brought to mankind through the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) Messenger of God.

In the Name of Allah the Merciful Beneficient

18:50                And [remind them, O, Messenger!] when we stated to the Angels: "Bow down to 'Adam"; they bowed down all, save Ibliss, who was one of the Jinns and disobeyed his Creator's Command. Will you then take him [Ibliss*1] and his offsprings as protectors and guardians instead of Me? Whereas they are obvious enemies of mankind; what an evil choice for the evil-doers;

18:51                I did  not call Ibliss and his offsprings as witnesses*2 while creating the heavens and the earth, nor even while creating themselves; I never take as helpers those who lead man astray.

18:52                On the Resurrection Day [God] will state: "Call on those whom you chose as My partners [in your worship]," then they will call on them, but they will not receive any receive any response from them; and We have appointed a perdition place between them in Hell;

18:53        And on that Day the guilty will see the Fire and will realize that they are to fall into it; and that they will not find any escape from it,

18:54                And surely We have used every kind of parables in this Quran [in order] to guide the people, but mankind is mostly after disputation.

18:55                And nothing hinders people from believing and asking their Creator&Nurturer for Forgiveness, after the guidance comes to them, except that they wait for the Divine Affliction which befell the ancients, or that the Chastisement that they should confront with.

18:56                And We did not send Messengers save as Givers of glad-tidings and warnings; and those who chose disbelief over belief, dispute by falsehood in order to put aside the Truth and they take My Revelations and the warnings for a mockery;

18:57                And who is more transgressing than he who is admonished by his Creator's Words of Revelation, but he turns away from them and forgets what he has forwarded [of wrong deeds] by his own hands for the Day of Account? Surely We have placed veils over their hearts in order not to understand the Holy Quran and We have put deafness in their ears [that they cannot hear the Truth] and if you call them to the Right Path, they will never follow it;

18:58                And your Creator&Nurturer is the Compassionate Forgiving: If [It] Would decide to punish men against all their shortcomings and sins, [It] would have hastened the Chastisement for them; but they are [lulled] up to an appointed time [after] which they will not find any refuge.

18:59                And We destroyed the township of the cities because they were wrongdoers and We had appointed a time for their destruction.

1- Editor's Note : "Ibliss" is usually referred to as "Satan" in English translation of the character, but a thread of thought comes with the Jewish tale of "Lilith" (the first wife of Adam who was made of fire and was part of another species that God created. Referring to the "offsprings" means that there were other creatures in other forms than in the "human" feature from the Bani-Adam family type (made from earth/mud)...

2- Whereas [God] in the creation of mankind [Children of Adam] appointed them as their own witnesses 7:172
