The following Ayats (signs) are randomly selected on this day as a reminder to those believers in the Unique Creator of all that exists, that seeking answers to daily problems are most efficient through the journey offered within the sacred texts of the Holy Quran, the latest divine words of revelation brought to mankind through the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) Messenger of God.

In the Name of Allah the Merciful Beneficient

2:282         O, you who believe! When you contract a debt for a fixed term, then write it down and let a scribe write it down between justly. And the scribe should not refuse to write, as to what [God] has taught him. So let him*1 write and let the debtor dictate*2; and he must fear [God], his Creator&Nurturer; and diminish not anything of what he owes. If he owes, suffers from mental problem or he is weak or unable to dictate himself, then let his guardian dictate justly. And call to witness, two witnesses from among your men and if there is not two men then call a man and two women of those you approve of as witnesses, so that if one of the two women forgets the second one of the two may remind the other; and the witnesses should not refuse to witness when they are called on [for evidence.] You should not become weary of writing it down,  whether small transaction or big, with its fixed term; this procedure is the most equitable with [God], more solid as evidence, and more convenient to prevent doubt among yourselves. In case it is a present transaction of trade in which you give and take between yourselves there is no blame on you if you do not write it down, nevertheless take witnesses when you make commercial contract, but do not let either the scribe or the witness be pressed or threatened; and if you do [so] verily, it will be regarded disobedience [from [God's] Command] from your side; and fear from the disobedience of [God's] Commands. [God] is the One Who teaches you all and [God] is the Absolute Knower of Everything;

2:283         And if you are on a journey and cannot find a scribe, then take a pledge with possession; but if one of you trusts the other [can do without taking pledge], then the trustee should fulfill his trust and return the entrusted faithfully; and he should fear [God], his Creator&Nurturer. And [you people] do not conceal testimony; and whosoever conceals it, then surely his heart is sinful. And [God] is well aware of all that you do;

2:284         To [God] belongs all that is in the heavens and on the earth. And whether you make known  what is in your hearts or hide it, [God] will call you to account for it and then [It] will forgive whomsoever [It] Wills and [It] will punish whomsoever [It] Wills.*3 And verily [God] is Powerful over all things.

1- The scribe

2- Proof read

3- Apart from man's deeds the Criterion for forgiveness or Punishment is decided by [God's] Embracing Knowledge about people, their intentions and their hearts.
