The following Ayats (signs) are randomly selected on this day as a reminder to those believers in the Unique Creator of all that exists, that seeking answers to daily problems are most efficient through the journey offered within the sacred texts of the Holy Quran, the latest divine words of revelation brought to mankind through the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) Messenger of God.

In the Name of Allah the Merciful Beneficient

7:26- And [God declared:] O, Children of Adam! We have sent to you a garment to cover your shame [and your body] and which is used also as an adornment; but the garment of piety*1 is the best; this, [priority given to the garment of piety] is one of [God’s] admonishing lessons,*2 that men may be mindful;

7:27- “O, Children of Adam! Do not let Satan tempt you as he did with your parents and he brought them out of the Garden and tore off from them the clothing of piety to show them their shame. Surely, he*3 and his tribe see you from where you cannot see them. We have appointed the devils as friends of those who do not believe.”

7:28- And whenever they*4 commit an act of indecency, they say: “Our fathers also did the same and [God] has enjoined us to do it. “Say [O, Messenger!]: “Verily [God] does not enjoin indecency; do you say against [God] such things that you have no knowledge of?”

7:29- Say [O, Messenger!]: “My Creator & Nurturer has enjoined justice; and that set your faces [towards It] at every place of worship; and invoke to [God], making your religion sincere for [It] only. As [God] brought you into being, so you shall return to [It] too.”

7:30 – [God] has guided some of the people aright and some deserve to be lost in their way [because] they took the devils as their protectors and helpers instead of [God]; and [nevertheless] they presume they are guided aright.

1-      “Taghva” or piety in the Holy Quran means to fear or abstain from disobedience of [God’s] Commands

2-     Ayat here signifies admonishing lessons

3-     Satan

4-     The disbelievers

EDITOR’S NOTE : “Allah” in English translation is the same “God” worshipped by other mono-theist religions and there should not be any distinction in the translation.

In Arabic, "God" has many names which are mentioned all through the Holy Quran. Also there should not be considered a gender for God as we do not have knowledge of this information and giving God the qualities of a "man" is reducing the immensity of the Unique Creator of All.
